King's Birthday Weekend

PROJECTA is a pilot digital art activation on the Queenstown waterfront, exploring how projection mapping and temporary public artworks can create connection and enrich the town’s cultural landscape.

Incredible Large Projection Videos

The 2026 Pilot edition will centre around a temporary projection mapping installation on the Absoloot Hostel QT building adjacent to Earnslaw Park. Presented across King’s Birthday Weekend, the activation will feature a curated series of digital artworks, animated content pieces and experimental projection works developed specifically for the site.
